Tenderloin Housing Clinic provides Representative Payee and money management services to formerly homeless individuals receiving financial benefits from Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Social Security Administration (SSA).

The program serves up to 195 individuals housed in both THC properties and other housing throughout San Francisco.

The program serves individuals who need assistance with money management to insure that their needs for food, clothing, shelter and daily living are met. This includes assisting clients with:

• Personal budgeting
• Prioritizing expenses
• Paying rent and other bills; and Saving money.

THC also helps to prevent or end financial exploitation; provide advocacy within the Social Security Administration regarding benefits, managing overpayments, re-determination of benefits and other matters involving their fiscal needs.

We do not charge a monthly fee for our services
